Day 66: A Stop at Adelaide River

Today was our third day into the trip up to Darwin. We all got up and got ready to go to Darwin. Mum took some photos before we left.

We then went to the Weir, a place we didn't go to the previous day, so we went for a drive down to there.

It was finally time to leave and head for Darwin. We just kept driving and driving all day and the only thing we saw was a brahman bull.

We eventually stopped at a little place called Adelaide River and set up the van at the showgrounds. We then went to have a look around and found the Adelaide River War Cemetery, so we stopped and had a look.

After that we went to a small line of shops so we could get some lunch, I had some barramundi and hot chips.

We wnt to the shops and had a look and found a big statue of Charlie the Buffalo off the famous Australian movie, Crocodile Dundee.

We then went tot the Adelaide River Train Mueseum across the road from that line of shops.
When you went around the back of the station you could see a big lake with all the water lillies in full bloom.

We then went back to the showgrounds to have a good nights sleep.
