Day 75: Jim Jim Falls

Today we decide that we would go to Jim Jim Falls. We left early and went to the turn-off. It was 50km of dirt road then 7km of 4wd track.
When we got there we got our socks and shoes on and then went on the walk. It was only a 900m walk but it was the longest 900m of my life. It was a rugged road and mum had some trouble.
On our way we saw a huge spider, so big that mum took a photo of it.
When we saw our first sighting of the falls was marvolous and it was beautiful.
We had at where we'd traveled and took some photos of the lake.
A little while later I went on the wrong path that lead me to the bottom of the falls. Of course mum and dad followed me and they had trouble getting over the rocks. When  I got to the bottom I had a look at the falls for a while before heading back. When I crossed paths with mum and dad I told mum she wouldn't make it to the end, so dad went on and took some photos.
We then went to the other side, to the beach.
After that we went to the carpark and then drove off. When we got back to the van we hooked up and then headed for Jim Jim Billabong. When ewe got there we dropped the van off at the rangers centre then went down the road. When we were driving along we came across a big waterhole and aparantely we had to go through it. After we'd gone through that one we had to go through an even bigger one than the previous one. Again after we'd gone through that we came to an even bigger one, we decided not to go through it. We went back to the van and hooked up and then went to the place we decided to stay at. We unpacked and then had dinner then went to bed.
