I got some bread and went down the ramp to go feed the mullet. There were a lot of them and they liked to suck at your fingers which felt really weird.
Mum and dad followed me down after and while and they started feeding the fish too then a lot of people came down.
After a while everyone started to move out till there was only 20 of us left. It was nearly over and we decided to head out too. On the way out we took a picture of the big fish statue.
We all went home and lunch. Dad and I decided we were going to the Leanyer Recreation Park (a place with a pool, a water playground and water slides and it was absolutely free). When we got there it looked like there weren't a lot of people there but when we got inside there were a lot. I started off in the water playground to see how good it was while dad took some photos. There was a big bucket on top of the playground and it tipped over every couple of minutes drenching everyone.
After half an hour I went over to the water slides to have a go. I decided to go on the blue one first, then I'd go on the yellow one. The blue slide was a big wide slide with a roof covering your head but didn't have many turns. The yellow one was darker than the blue one and a lot narrower.
I was planning to go on the red slide but it needed 2 people so I convinced dad to come down with me on a tube. It was a pitch black slide where you couldn't see anything, and at the end you drop down out of the darkness into a little pool. At the end of the red one I always either went under the tube or over the top. We stayed there for a couple of hours doing all the slides and then eventually went home.
We got ready to go to Mindil Beach sunset markets. When we got there it was packed and we found it difficult to find a park. We didn't have much time till sunset so we walked around pretty quickly. After a while we bought some dinner and headed down to the beach to watch the sun set over the harbour.
After the sunset we headed back to the markets. We planned to have another look around but noticed a man named Jack doing a performance. he was a professional juggler and most of his tricks were involved with juggling. Towards the end he started to juggle fire and right at the end he stood on top of a pole and juggled fire.
It was funny and a good show. After that we went home to settle in for the night. We'd already had dinner so went straight to bed to read.
