Day 67: Darwin, We're Here

Today was the day that we were going to get to Darwin. We packed up that morning and then mum took some last minute photos before we hit the road again. Unusual as it sounds it looks as though a termite mound might have gotten tangled up a little bit.

We got on the road once again and headed towards a lake (can't remember the name though), and stopped there for lunch.
We had a quick lunch and then went back to the car so we could get to Darwin. We then stopped at a dam a little ways from Darwin and stopped there to have a look. It was quite beautiful and you could to the top and you could to the very bottom.
We soon left and went to get back on the road. When we were on the outskirs of Darwin we saw smoke coming from some trees in the distance, very obvious that Darwin has a high fire rating.
We eventually got to Darwin but we were a little bit early so we didi some exploring before going to Hidden Valley Resort.

It was eventually time to go to Hidden Valley Resort and set up for the week.  We were invited to have dinner at teh Darwin Trailer Boat Club because dad was booke din for the races.  Before going out we went down to teh beach to have a look at the sunset.

After the sunset we went to trailer club for dinner and we watched teh second State of Origin match.
We went home after the match and was visited by something green, slimy and hides away in a toilet, you guessed it and little green frog.
