Day 28: Uluru, Target Sighted

Today was the day we were going to get to Uluru. We left Kulgera and headed for the rock. there wasn't really much to do on the drive there. We stopped at Curtin Springs for a lunch break and we were only 80km from the rock and we also found out that we can stay there for free. We thought about it for a while before choosing to stay at Curtin Springs. We set up in a nice quiet spot under a tree. When we were done setting up we got back into the car and drove to Uluru. When we got to the Ayers Rock Resort we went to see our friends from Kulgera, but only to find out that they had already left. We explored around the resort for a little while before heading off to get our first glimpse of Uluru. When we go to the Ayers Rock Resort, we went shopping for grocerries and have a look around. After we'd done that we went to the edge of the national park that goes into Uluru. We found out that the cost to go in was $25 for each person over 16, people younger like me went in for free, but the bad thing was we couldn't take Rosie in and we had her with us so we decided toleave it till the next day. We headed back to Curtin Springs to have dinner and watch a movie.
