Day 19: Lake Eyre In Our Grasp

This morning we caught up on stuff on the computer because this was the last place that we will have internet until Coober Pedy. After we’d caught up on stuff we got back on the road. It didn’t take us long to get to Lyndhurst. When we did get to Lyndhurst we went straight to the pub to have a drink. After we had the drink we went to the Farina Township Ruins on our way to Marree. They were pretty historic and there was even an underground bakery. When we finished there we went straight to Marree, the last place before Lake Eyre. Marree was a beautiful place that was very historic. We went to the information centre and bought some stuff then went to the petrol station to fuel up, we also bought some stuff in there to. After that we went to a park to look around. We found this wooden camel and we took some photos of it and then went on to Lake Eyre. It was getting late by the time we left Marree and we couldn't go far so we stopped at this little place on the side of the road. We found out that the little spot we were staying at was called Sculpture Park because it had sculpture in the paddock next to us. We settled in and went to bed at about 9:30. We were going to be the next day so I was very excited.
