We actually decided to stay at Kununurra. When we got there we went to the showgrounds and settled in. We had dinner and then went to bed.

Day 123: Geike Gorge

Today we were going to Fitzroy Crossing and going to Geike Gorge. We left Ellendale and got to Fitzroy Crossing and then went up to Geike Gorge. We went to the boat and waited for the driver.
Once we got on the road we first saw a freshwater crocodile, a few cool trees and some really weird bird nests on the rocks. We also saw some cool rock formations.

After our cruise we went back to the van and got Rosie and headed out, even Rosie got a turn at the wheel.

We went back to Fitzroy Crossing and we headed to Mary River. Once there we set up camp and went to bed.

Day 121: School Work

Dad and I got up early and had breakfast before going to the hall to do a heap of maths. We kept doing maths until 2:30pm that afternoon and dad went fishing and mum went shopping and I just played with the kids and watched a movie before dad came back with a Golden Trevally and thats what we had for dinner before going to bed.

Day 120: Djarindjin Scout Camp Day 2

Again another early start to the morning and breakfast pretty early. It was then off to well to see if the water was clean.

We then went to the footprints of the aboriginal ancestors that have been there for over 8000 years.
It was then back to the campsite to pack up and get ready to leave. After we'd packed up it was time to go back to Broome. When we'd got back dad came and picked us up so we could go to bed for a much needed rest.

Day 119: Djarindjin Scout Camp Day 1

It was an early start to the morning and once we got up it was down to the waterhole to try and catch some mudcrabs. Although our attempt to catch breakfast was unsuccessful our spirits were still high because a nice breakfast was waiting for us and afterwards was a nice walk down to an undug well then down to the beach for a swim.

While some swam in the water the rest of us went hunting for crabs and mudskippers for bait when we went fishing later. Suddenly someone yelled SHARK so we had to evacuate and go swimming somewhere else. Once we got to Chile Creek some of us went fishing and some of us went swimming.
We went back to the camp it was getting on to lunch timeso he patrol on duty cooked while the rest of us got the fires ready. When it was time to cook dinner we made the fires and got ready to go to the disco that night. When dinner was cooked we had it and then went back to Lombadina and went to the disco. I fell asleep half way through and as soon as you know it, it was time to go back to the camp to go to bed.
