Day 97: A Caught Fish

 Early that morning dad went to the Katherine river and after three hours he finally came home with 2 black brim.

We had the caught fish for dinner and stayed up late although Rosie wanted to go to bed.

Day 96: More School Work

Today I was doing even more school work. We got started at about 10:00 and at about 1:00 I went to the skate park to have a good ride on my scooter. Right at the end of my ride I flipped over and stretched my knee tendons really and stuffed my knee. I went home and because Leonie and John were out for the night, we spent the evenin in there house then went back to the van for bed.

Day 95: School Work

Today I was doing school work the whole day. It was 6:00 by the time i'd finished and we'd done alot. We then had dinner, watched a movie then went to bed.

Day 94: Rest Day

Today was another one of our little rest days. We all woke up and started doing jobs around the van till I decided to go to Daniels. We had some fun like going to the BMX track while mum clipped Rosie inside the house. When dad came to pick me up we went to get myself a new scooter because i'd been asking for one for a long time. When we got home we had a good dinner then went to bed.

Day 93: Katherine Once Again

Today we woke up to a good colourful sunrise.
Leonie and John kindly granted us permission to use their hose to wash the car and van. It took us a couple of hours but we were glad to get it all nice and clean. We then went home to have a wonderful dinner.

Day 92: Leaving Litchfield

Today we were going back to Katherine. We hooked up early and headed back to batchelor. We then went to Adeleide River and had lunch there. I had barramundi and chips. We then went to Pine Creek and then on to Katherine. We set up at Leonie's place and had dinner and went to bed.

Day 91: Exploring Litchfield

Now that its the 91st day, we are officially half-way through our 6 month trip through Australia.
Today we were going to go to Blyth Homestead, Tjaynera Falls, Tabletop Swamp and Bamboo Creek Tin Mine. We hit the road at about 9:00 and headed to the 7km of dirt road. We found the turn off to go to Tjaynera Falls and we decided we'd go down there first. It was a 1.7km walk to the base of the falls and you could swim there. We hadn't brought any swimming gear but that didn't stop me from having a swim.
 After I'd had my swim I dried off by walking all the way back to the car. We went to Blyth Homestead and had a look.
 
It was quite cool and they literally have a tin mine in their backyard. When we'd finished there it was on to Tabletop Swamp.
 
After that we went back to the van to have a good nights sleep.
