We all did practically nothing that day except that I learned to crack a whip and we played football. We had some fun with some sparkelers before having dinner watching a movie and going to bed.

Day 141: More Resting
Today we practically did the exact same thing as the previous day. Later on that day Jude came back with a couple of vans behind her, so we had extra dinner tonight. We had dinner that night before going to bed.

Day 140: Resting at Turumbirini Station
Dad and Jonno set out that morning to go fill up the bore. Jude and I went to feed the animals while mum made breakfast. All we did that day was slouch around and we eventually decided to stay another night. Jude had to go into town to do something. I watched TV until dinner and then went to bed.

Day 139: An Unexpected Stop
We left Daly Waters and got back on the road again. We eventually stopped at a Turumbirini Station and the people who own it we'd met back in Katherine. We originally were going to skip it but we decided to stay a night there.
Later on Jude brought home something special, a puppy border collie and her name was Dollie.
We spent the afternoon unhooking and going to see all the animals. We had dinner around about 7:00 and we also watched a movie before going to bed.

Day 138: Resting at Daly Waters
We all slept in that morning and we were ready to do anything. We travelled to Larrimah and finished doing things around there. There was even a zoo there that you could go in for free.
We then got to Daly Waters and un-hooked so we could start relaxing. Dad and I ended up going to the pool and spending an hour there. When we got back to the van I went over to the shelter and had my own time to myself for an hour. When I got back we all got ready for the beef and barra meal that night. We met up with some friends and spent the night with them at the bar. While we were having the beef and barra there was some live entertainment. A man called Chilli sang some songs and told some really really funny jokes, they were so funny that whenever I laughed my shoulder and belly hurt.
After thta we went back to the van to get a good nights sleep for the first leg of the final sprint of the trip.

Day 137: Heading for Daly Waters
We went to the barra feeding and met up with some old friends. We even got to have a free fish. When that was over we went to Bitter Springs for a quick dip. We stayed there about an hour before getting back on the road. We ended up stopping at a little place called Warloch and we set-up there. Again we played UNO before going to bed.

Day 136: Exploring Mataranka
We went for a drive that morning to have a short look around. We stopped at a campsite that had some historic things around.
We then went back to the van. Mum and dad went out to do some stuff and they left me at home. When they got back we went over to the bar to watch the old Australian movie We of the Never Never. After a little while I got bored so I went back to the van. Dad came over a little while later and took me to the Thermal Pools.
After that we went back to the van to have dinner. We played UNO before going to bed.

Day 135: Leaving Katherine for Good
Dad went off that morning to get the car fixed while mum and I did some cooking and some stuff around the van. When dad got back we hit the road practically straight away. We planned to stop at a free camp but we missed the turn off, so we ended up staying at the homestead. We un-hooked then went over to the bar to listen to the entertainment. We came back and played UNO before going to bed.

Day 134: Anxious Waiting
Dad and I went to the pool around about 10:00 and we stayed there for most the day. When we got back at 2:30 we had some cake and waited for mum to finish cooking dinner. Dad went fishing and caught a humungous catfish but didn't bring it home. After dinner we watched a movie then went to bed.

Day 133: Goodbye Katherine....NOT!
We hooked up early and said goodbye to Leonie and John for the last time and hit the road. All the way we heard this weird sound and then, BOOM, explosion in the bonnet. We decided to turn around and go back to Katherine. We decided its probably better that we didn't go back to Leonie's so we went out of town to the Springvale Homestead Caravan Park. The caravan park was so cool. the pool even had a water slide. We we'd set up, dad and I went over to the pool and had a swim. I spent most my time on the water slide.
When we got back to the van we had dinner then went to bed.

Day 132: Rest Day
Dad went to drop the car off for its service and he had a day at the shed with other John, so it was just me, mum and Leonie. Leonie eventually had to go to the weigh bridge so mum made me do some homework. After that I went over to Leonie's house and sat myself down and watched TV. We also baked a cake and some brownies. That night Katie came around and we had a roast dinner. I just kept watching TV. When Katie left I decided to hit the sack.

Day 131: Nitmuluk Gorge
When we got to the departure point there was a huge line-up and we had to wait 30min just to get on the boat. We finally got through and we walked down the ramp to the boat.
We learned alot about different trees and animals.
When the cruise was over we went back to the information centre and had some sausage rolls and pie. After that we ran into some people we'd met somewhere along the line. We talked for a little while and then left. We got back to Leonie's place and stayed there until it was time for dinner. After dinner we went to bed.

Day 126: El Questro
We all got ready quite early and we were on the road by 7:30am. It took us quite a bit of time to get out there but we eventually did.
We wanted to go to Zebedee Springs first because it closed at 12:00pm.
The good thing about Zebedee springs was that it stayed at 28-32C all year round. We then went to El Questro Gorge just around the corner. But we didn't do the walk because it would take to long and we wanted to see more things.
We then went to have a look at Moonshine Gorge and again we didn't do the walk. Then it was off to Jackaroo's Waterhole to have a swim and some lunch.
After that we headed for the township next. We didn't stop there because we knew we were going back that way.
Next we were going out to have a look at Branco's Lookout and Explosion Gorge. We went to Explosion Gorge first and had a look.
It was then off to Branco's Lookout to have a look. It was a really rough and steep drive up.
It was then back to the township and then back home to Kununurra.
